Firstly, apologies for the poor picture quality. I had to grab some pictures from my iPhone and when they're blown up they go a little out of focus which is annoying. BUT, you get the gist. Call me crazy but for Lent, I decided to give us biscuits and chocolate bars. I eat both like they're going out of fashion so I thought I'd really challenge myself. I honestly thought I'd last about three days but I've got one week to go and I haven't caved which for me, is something to be really proud of. I'm a snacker by nature and can never just stick to three meals a day so I've been on the search for healthy but tasty alternative snacks. This is made so much easier when one of your best friends is gluten and dairy free because she's always finding little gems like this.

First up on the agenda is Propercorn which I've fallen in love with. The sweet coconut and vanilla is my favourite and I honestly can't get enough of it. This big bag is only 109 calories and there are other flavours like sweet and salty and Worcester sauce with sun-dried tomatoes. It's around 80p for this size bag or you can buy a share bag for around £1.60. Bargain! Next up is my chocolate bar substitute which comes in the form of a Nakd bar which is gluten, wheat and dairy free - so super healthy. They're 75p each or you can get a pack of 4 for £2.50. My personal favourites are cocoa, cocoa orange, cocoa crunch or caffe mocha but there are loads of flavours. Even when I can eat naughty food once Lent is over, these will still be two of my staple snacks.
