NTU Dance Presents Muse

Wednesday, 3 December 2014

Every year Nottingham Trent Dance present their annual dance show at Forum in front of around 400-500 people. It goes down a treat year in, year out and this year was no exception as on Sunday we presented the rest of Nottingham Trent with this year's annual show: Muse. After rehearsing since the beginning of term in September, three teams came together across two campuses along with special guests Funky Fresh Collective. The venue was decked out with a stage, seats and fairy lights and there was a mix of ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, jazz and tap dances. Although terrifying on the night, it's always so much fun on stage and of course, the best bit is the after party. Let's just say a well overdue combination of drinking and dancing with all of my favourite dance girls, followed by a day-long hangover. This year's show was particularly special because it was my last EVER Trent Dance show which is heartbreaking because it means reality it setting in and I'm having to come to terms with the fact that it's all finally coming to an end. Despite the sadness, I'll always hold such fond memories of being a part of it all. Trent Dance, it's been an absolute pleasure.
