Origins GinZing Moisturizer

Just a little side note before reading this: If you immediately pop something onto your wishlist if somebody tells you it smells amazing, then stop reading. Why? Because this smells in-bloody-credible. Like, seriously I would definitely consider eating this kind of incredible. And if you love fresh, citrus, fruity scents then this little bad boy needs to be yours. Smell it and you'll be sold. There was a lot of hype surrounding this product just before Christmas so it was one of the first things I picked up with my Christmas money as soon as I hit the shops. Apart from the smell, obviously, one of the main things that drew me to this moisturizer was the gel consistency. Most moisturizers are quite creamy but I rather liked the idea of a lightweight texture. I always planned on using it as my morning moisturizer because I like to use something a little heavier in the evenings.

It really is the perfect little pot of pick-me-up. It makes you feel instantly awake and fresh when you apply it and it absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving it feeling soft, light and plump. It's lasted me an incredibly long time but I do mix my moisturizers up a little so I haven't been using it daily. Origins have a great reputation in the skincare world and with this being the first product from the brand I've tried, I'm seriously impressed and am eager to try some other products (super spot remover and skin-brightening face polisher I'm looking at you). It is on the pricey side at £23 for 50ml from Boots, considering you can get some good moisturizers for under a fiver, but if you want something a little more luxurious and you're happy to pay for pretty packaging and have happy nostrils, then this little energy boosting pot of goodness might just be for you. Go on, I dare ya.

  1. Might consider buying this simply because I want "happy nostrils" too. LOL xx
