Mini Homeware Haul

Wednesday, 3 September 2014

In less than two weeks I'm moving into a three bedroom flat with my two best friends for the third and final year of University. And a new home means a mini homeware haul is absolutely necessary. I picked up the cutest White Flora Collection Letter Rack for £3.99 from Dunelm Mills. I don't have many things I need to post, but I'm going to store important documents and possibly magazines in it. I love shabby chic home decor so it'll fit in with the design of my new room perfectly. I couldn't help but buy these pretty floral 2 pack of flanels from Primark which I got for the bargain price of £1.50. They might not be the best quality but they're super cute so it doesn't matter too much. Some of my glasses are looking a little bit worse for wear so I decided to replenish my cupboard with these cute candy coloured ones from Wilkinsons. They were £2 for four which I think is great value for money. Boring cups are a big no-no.

I'm a tea lover as is one of the girls I'm living with so I couldn't help but pop this adorable little bird teapot in my basket for us in Wilkinsons. At £2 I just couldn't say no and the floral 50p mug also hopped into my basket uninvited, oops. The toothbrush holder was an essential but essentials don't have to be boring. I love the white heart design on this Rose and Ellis Appleby Collection Toothbrush Holder and think it'll look really pretty in our bathroom which is predominantly black. Dunelm Mills is great for affordable homeware as this only set me back a mere £2.49. A homeware haul woulnd't be complete without a little bit of bedroom decor so I decided to pick up a 15 pack of white LED heart lights which cost me £6. I already have a set wrapped around my bed frame at home but they don't cover the entire frame so I wanted to get another set so I can be in fairy light heaven in my new house. Home shopping is so much fun and I'm sure I can find the time to squeeze a little bit more in before I go back to Uni.
