Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation | Review

Friday, 9 May 2014

I'm not going to say too much about this foundation as there's a plethora of positive reviews in the blogosphere, but it's definitely worth mentioning. I'm quite lucky with foundations as I've got normal skin and only occasionally get dry patches around my nose and chin so most formulas work with my skin quite well. I'd read great things about this so for £6.99 picked one up straight away. It's the perfect everyday foundation as it provides medium coverage and lasts fairly well throughout the day.

I got this in Classic Beige which matches my skin well. When buffed in with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush it sits on the skin nicely and leaves a fresh, dewy finish. Usually foundations are around £9/£10 so the price really is a winning factor. I'd definitely repurchase this because it's lasted such a long time and is up there with my favourite everyday foundations along with Bourjois 123 Perfect and Bourjois Happy Light. From what I've read it works with most skin types so it's definitely worth picking up.

Have you tried this foundation? What is your everyday foundation?

  2. I had wanted to try this for a while, but I have been loving Bare Minerals original foundation at the moment! Never thought I would like a mineral foundation! I have just written a review over on my blog!

My first ever blog post was about this foundation haha and I still love it! It's just a bit too dark for me now so I'll use it again in summer! At the moment i'm loving the Bourjouis CC cream!

    1. Thank you :) sometimes it's nice having a darker foundation you can switch to in the summer! I think I'll start using my BB creams again on good skin days when the weather is a bit nicer x
