Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover

Friday, 18 April 2014

Eye makeup remover is something I've struggled with in the past as they always seem to be really greasy and leave my skin feeling unclean. When I tried the L'Oreal micellar water I tried the eye makeup remover from the same range and wasn't too impressed. I usually really like L'Oreal products but something from that particular range just didn't work  for me.

The L'Oreal was too greasy and so was Clinque. The Body Shop was a lot nicer but I still wanted to search for something different so I picked this up for about three or four pounds in Boots. You have to shake the bottle quite vigorously as the solution is separated into an oil phase and an aqueous phase so the two parts need to be mixed in order to be effective.

I soak a cotton pad with this, hold it over my eye and then gently wipe. I find it allows my eye makeup to slide off with ease and doesn't leave any greasy residue which is a bonus. Although the bottle only contains 125ml it's lasted a lot longer than I first anticipated and I've really been enjoying using this product. I've picked up a Garnier one to trial next so I'll keep you posted.

  2. I use this too! Absolutely love it, a lot more effective than most of the high end brand eye makeup removers that I have tried.
