Essentials | Hair and Body

I hate essentials. You have to buy them but you don't necessarily want to buy them. Luckily, these are pretty cheap essentials, so I can't really complain. I used to lug around my perfume with me in my handbag and I was forever misplacing the lid. It was a silly idea because the glass bottle could have smashed at any time, so I invested in a body spray. Yes, Impulse is a bit year eight, but in all honesty, the Pear and Jasmine smells pretty nice and it's perfect if I want to freshen up on the go.

I have a love-hate relationship with dry shampoo. It makes me feel a little dirty and I'd much rather just wash my hair, but that's not always possible. That might sound plain gross, but I choose an extra hour in bed. I know everyone raves about Batiste but I prefer the Lee Stafford one. Dry shampoo snob, I know. This Batiste was on offer and the cherry scent is quite nice. As much as I try not to use it, it's a little gem if I'm rushing out the door and need to freshen up my locks. I really should just get up earlier, shouldn't I?

What are your essentials?

  1. Haha I'm the opposite, I love buying essentials! Like stationery, so boring but can't get enough!

  2. I go through those Impulse body deodorants as if there was no tomorrow - they're great as a quick body spray if you don't happen to have a great body lotion in the gym bag :o) Xx

    1. Me too! The Soap and Glory body spray is also really nice, a little bit more expensive, but worth it. It smells better than some of the other original scents I've smelt from Batiste!X
