USC FIRETRAP TEASE BOOTS

Thursday, 21 November 2013

Well hello there beautiful boots. These weren't planned - they were an accident waiting to happen, I guess. I went home last weekend and was going out with my friends on Saturday night. At 5.30pm I had a shoe crisis and realised I hadn't brought any appropriate shoes to go with my outfit so my lovely dad drove me to town just in time to catch the couple of shops that were still open. I was going to go to New Look but as they were closed, I nipped into Republic (which is now actually known as USC according to my receipt). I never shop in Republic  but I ended up stumbling across the most gorgeous pair.

These are from the Firetrap range and are named Tease Boots. Usually when you desperately need something, especially 15 minutes before the shops are shutting, you can't find it. But these boots and I were certainly meant to be. These kind of boots are really in at the minute and although I have some, they're super plain and nothing on this pair. I absolutely love the gold detailing around the tip of the toe and the back of the boot. Paired with the gold buckle on the outside and the gold metal zip on the inside I think they shout sophistication.

At £40 I think they're quite reasonably priced considering they're Firetrap. I managed to get 20% student discount meaning I only paid £32 which is even better. I've been loving wearing these and they can be paired with leggings, skinny jeans or tights - extremely versatile. They aren't the comfiest if you're planning on doing a lot of walking what with the heel, but they don't rub, it's more pressure on the bottom of your feet. I'm a little in love with these and I don't think they'll be leaving my feet any time soon.

What do you think of these boots? What are your winter boots like?
