Gone are the days when I want a 'main' present like a new camera or phone (although I'd love a Canon 600D, they're just a tad expensive), nowadays I find myself wanting little bits and bobs instead. As I've become increasingly interested in beauty and skincare, a long list of products have compiled on my iPhone notes. I've decided to do some research and whittle down the list to products I really want and pop them on my Christmas list.

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover - £17
I'm currently using the L'Oreal eye makeup remover and although it removes eyeliner and eye shadow effectively, I find myself having to continuously rub if I want to remove all my mascara. I often wake up in the morning with a little bit of black round my eyes which is not great. The Clarins one is meant to be really effectively at removing stubborn mascara so I'd like to give it a go.

REN Clearcalm3 Anti-blemish Clay Cleanser - £18
The Clinique cleansing foam works a dream in the three step process and helps to maintain clear and soft skin, but the more I'm using it, the less I'm liking the whole foam thing. I feel the consistency is too thin and I feel like it absorbs into my skin too quickly. I want something with a little more substance and I've heard great things about this clay cleanser. The fact that it's anti-blemish as well is a bonus.

REN Clarifying Toning Lotion - £18
I don't currently use a toner because the ones I've previously used have stung my skin. REN is meant to be gentle and having visited Space NK recently, the consultant recommended REN. It's meant to be an incredible brand and I hope to be really impressed with the results. It also smells lovely which is a swaying factor for me.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser - £23
I'm runnnig out of my Clinique moisturiser fast so I need to replenish. I really like how it keeps my skin hydrated but the Origins GinZing has intrigued me since its release. It smells absolutely incredible - the citrus scent is to die for. Origins is a luxurious brand I would say and although £23 is a tad pricey, if it lasts a long time and is as good as it smells, then it'll be worth it.

Nars Laguna Bronzer - £26
Ever since my Mac Matte Bronzing Powder ran out I've been using the Bourjois Bronzing Primer. I really like it and it gives good results but I do want a powder based bronzer as well as using the Bourjois mousse one. Nars Laguna is a hit among bloggers and having swatched it recently, it's safe to say I'm a little in love.

Bioderma - £9.99
I'm loving using the Clinique Cleansing Balm but I want a water solution to use beforehand so I can ensure that every last trace of my make up is being removed. I'd use Bioderma to take the top coat off, the cleansing balm to remove the rest and then a cleanser and toner to clean. My skin didn't take too well to the L'Oreal one so Bioderma is next on my list to try.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers - £20
A girl with short stubby eyelashes needs a good pair of eyelash curlers. I've tried budget ones such as No7 but they tend to grip my lashes too tight and occasionally steal an eyelash or two. A few bloggers such as I Covet Thee and Vivianna Does Makeup use them and I really trust their opinions.

These are the items that I want most out of my long list and I feel would slot nicely in my beauty and skincare regime. What's on your Christmas wishlist?

  1. Any product from the REN and Origin range is always welcome. I'd love to try the REN clay mask as well and maybe also one of their cleansing lotions. Xx

    1. I'm so excited for Christmas to see if I get any REN goodies - if I get the clay mask I'll definitely do a review!X
