I went into boots around three weeks ago and picked up a few bits. It was buy one get one half price so I took advantage and got these two Seventeen products. I saw the lovely Imogen Massey over at the Bluebird & the Robin blog about this Glow & prime WOW! 3 way highlighter and I instantly knew I had to have it. What's not to love about the sound of that? It's the most gorgeous pearlescent shimmery colour which applies beautifully. It's very thin and soft and is extremely blendable which is great. I've been applying it to my cheekbones, brow arch and cupids bow and it just adds a hit of shimmer and catches the natural light.

I then picked up the phwoarr PAINT Heavy duty under eye concealer which caught my eye. I sometimes struggle with bags under my eyes when I haven't quite got enough sleep so I thought I'd give this a whirl. So far so good. I wouldn't say it completely transforms my tiresome face but it does help to hide the bags a little. I wasn't expecting miracles because it's a high street brand and I'm sure there's higher end concealers which work better, but if you're on a budget then this is definitely worth a purchase. The consistency is very creamy and easy to blend which is great as it doesn't stick to any creases or fine lines which is impressive considering it's a very thick consistency.

The last product I picked up the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correction Serum. This range has continued to intrigue me since its release so as it was a third off, I decided to get my hands on it. It is meant to refine skin texture, tighten pores and even and brighten your skin tone. I'm yet to see whether it does what is says on the tin because it actually got lost amongst a lot of my make-up. I've used it a couple of times but I don't feel I can comment without using it thoroughly. What I do know is that it's silky smooth and applies nicely, so I'll be back once I have a full review for you.

I'm trying to be good with money beauty wise since spending a small fortune at the Clinique counter, but I am going to treat myself to a few new bits at some point in the near future. Do you have any gorgeous Autumn make-up suggestions for me?
