Hello fellow bloggers! So today me and the lovely Nicole are doing something a little different and having a blog swap! I approached Nicole to do a guest post on my blog and she was so kind to offer me the opportunity to do one on her blog as well, so here we are. And to see Nicole's post you can read it on my blog at

As disinclined as I am to admit it, the end of summer is approaching. As a result I wanted to make the most of these last few days by compiling my whitest and brightest items into a classy summer evening outfit.

I have quite a large collection of blazers in my wardrobe in a cast variety of colours, and this white number from Primark was a new addition earlier this summer. I really like this blazer for the diagonal style cut it has which I find very flattering. Also, and what I seem to go for a lot in a blazer is a collarless style, I personally think it's easier to match this style with a wider variety of tops. To top it all off this little white piece is super comfy and just £20, can't go wrong really!

I have also been into colour blocking this summer and this super bright green cami top for £18 from Topshop did the job nicely when worn with the blazer. Not only for the gorgeous colour but I love this top for the lightweight fabric, it's not at all clingy so drapes very nicely.

For the bottom half of my outfit I kept it simple with these tube pants for £30 from River Island, the slightly shiny effect makes them just that little bit more exciting than leggings and I think makes all the difference in an outfit like this. Plus you can match them with nearly anything, therefore a very worthwhile purchase!

As for the shoes, I have the exact same pair in black but I could not bring myself to walk straight past these in the shop as they are just stunning, so simple but sophisticated and immediately make an outfit more exciting. These little beauties were just £15 from Matalan, bargain!

The final elements that I added to my white and bright look included my white strap Dolce and Gabbana watch, the bit of bling it has makes it feel more like a piece of jewellery so I wear this a lot with many outfits. Also I painted my nails in a Maybelline 'Color Show' polish in the shade 'Pow Green' to match the colour of my top almost exactly. This polish comes in the most lovely variety of bold colours and lasts really well so if you haven't already I recommend you check them out.

Thank you for reading my guest post, and thanks again to Nicole for doing this blog swap with me, I had fun doing it so hopefully we can do something similar in the future! I am a regular reader of this blog and I'm sure many of you will agree that Nicole has a really lovely, successful blog, so make sure you keep reading as she's probably going to be a famous journalist one day!
