Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is a firm favourite among many bloggers, including myself, but I'm trying to branch out and try different brands to see how they measure up. I love discovering new products and the only way to determine the great from the good is by trial and error. I don't mind opting for a process of elimination as it means I get to buy lots of make-up and try it all out, which is always exciting. I've really grown to love Bourjois products lately so while Bourjois were offering 3 for 2 across all of their products, I thought I'd give the pressed powder a whirl. It's meant to be a 10 hour mattifying powder which gives a natural glow and is really flattering on the skin. I took a little bit of a risk as I had to choose the shade online but luckily for me, there were only four shades to choose from. None of them were extraordinarily dark, so I opted for the second from darkest shade Beige Fonce which is actually a perfect match. The powder applies really easily and produces a lovely soft finish. It's quite mattifying and removes any trace of shine if you have slightly oily skin. All Bourjois products are fragranced which I love, so this powder smells gorgeous too which is always a plus. It comes in a lovely compact case with a mirror so it's perfect for carrying around with you if you want to top up your make-up on the go. The red makes it stand out amongst all my other make-up so it's dead easy to locate and grab when I'm in a rush of a morning. If you're looking for a lovely lightweight powder then I'd definitely recommend you try this. I use the Perfect 123 Bourjois foundation and it sits nicely on top of that, so I can only imagine that it will look even more flawless upon the Healthy Balance foundation.

Have you ever tried this Bourjois powder?
