Boots Online Order

Saturday, 31 August 2013

My debit card needs to be confiscated because I cannot stop buying things online. Now I'm working full time I rarely get time to go shopping. I can go at the weekends but I've been here there and everywhere lately so shopping has sadly been suppressed. Well, I tell a lie, physical shopping has been a little abandoned, but online shopping has rocketed. I often read a stack of reviews of an evening which leaves me coveting a long list of products. I decided to get my monthly skincare fix as Boots are offering some fabulous online bargains right now. L'Oreal have launched a new skin perfecting range which I immediately knew I wanted to try out. I opted for the BB Cream 5 in 1 Instant Blemish Balm in medium. I really love L'Oreal as a brand so I'm hoping to be really impressed with this. They also offer a skin perfecting serum within the range which I know I need to get my mitts on at some point. I went a bit BB cream crazy and bought a Garnier one too. I'm probably the one blogger in the whole entire blogosphere who hasn't yet invested in a BB cream so please forgive me. I don't feel I have great skin and always tend to go for quite full coverage foundation, so BB creams have always scared me a little. I thought I'd finally take the plunge while my skin is in fairly good condition and try out a couple of BB creams to see how my skin works with them and what all the fuss is about. It'll be interesting to see which one I prefer and I'll do a full comparison review once they've been thoroughly tried and tested. I've seen endless TV adverts for the new Nivea Express Hydration Primer and I really like the idea of a light moisturiser which hydrates and primes the skin at the same time. I'm a sucker for a new product on the market so I snapped this up like nobody's business. Talking of Nivea, I've lusted over the caramel lip butter for absolutely ages but always forget to pick it up when I'm in Boots. The pots are really small, cute and fun and are a nice alternative to a bog standard boring lip balm stick (except Maybelline Baby Lips, of course!). Although I've only used this product a few times I'm completely head over heels. No wonder they called it a lip butter, it glides along the lip effortlessly and is buttery soft. If I apply it at night my lips are fully nourished in the morning which is what I want from a lip butter. It's perfect to keep in my handbag to keep my lips hydrated throughout the day although I do feel it's a little too thick to sit underneath lipstick. Now I have my skincare fix, all I need is a makeup fix this month so stay tuned.

  2. I love any form of shopping! Who doesn't! But going to a make-up counter and swatching make-up all over your hands or any visible part of your body is just the best bit! I tucson termite think Im more of a store kinda girl, but I do like an online bargain!
