Tubetastic

As a beauty blogger, I naturally plan in my head, or in my iPhone notes should I say, what beauty products I want to get my hands on. There are a few must-haves at the minute which all seem to be packaged in tubes, so I thought I'd embrace the tube theme and share with you my top five desired tube products.

First up is the Nip + Fab Sheer Make-Up Fix. It's meant to be a multi-tasking wonder gel which evens your sktin tone and texture whilst reducing the appearance of fine lines. I like the idea of the product being in gel form rather than being a cream base like some other skin perfecting products and primers. I've heard some great things about Nip + Fab products lately, especially with the freebies Cosmopolitan mag were giving away in their August issue.

Next up is The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream. I know BB creams hit the shelves a while back, but I am yet to try one. I don't feel my skin is up to the job of just coping with a BB cream as I'm conscious of my imperfections, but I've read some very positive reviews on The Body Shop's take on the BB cream and think I might give it a whirl. It sounds like it'll be a good product when I want to let my skin breathe and don't want to clog it with make-up, or if I am having a good skin day once in a while.

This Rimmel Wake Me Up Shimmer Touch has intrigued me for a while now and I finally think it's time to invest. It's meant to give an instant boost of shimmering radiance and the mousse formula is supposed to be super blendable and long lasting. I like the mousse idea and I'm generally very impressed with Rimmel products, so hopefully I won't be let down by this one.

The infamous Benefit Porefessional - another one of Benefit's many products that needs to be added to my make-up collection. I haven't really heard many negative things about this product, but you can never be sure until you try it for yourself. It's a similar concept to the Nip + Fab product and is meant to minimalise the appearance of pores and fine lines for a smoother finish. It seems like it will provide a great base for applying make-up.

Last up is Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. This is one of the higher-end products and I'm hoping that my exceptions will be met. Clarins is meant to be an excellent brand and although I can't say I've tried any Clarins products, I'd really like to try this one. It's meant to be a boost for tired and stressed skin which sounds ideal. Not that I'm overly tired or stressed, but I think it will give my skin a general boost and inject a bit of life into it.

These are my top five tube picks. What are yours?

  1. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm has to be my all time favourite primer! It is also great on its own. I have very dry skin and most primers just dry it out but find this one is like a moisturiser! xx

    1. I'm definitely going to have to invest in both! It's one thing having a good range of make-up, but I feel it's important to maintain a great base to apply the make-up. Thank you so much, that's such a lovely thing to say! And thanks for subscribing :) Of course I can, I'd be more than happy to! I'll check it out now :) xxx

    2. Totally agree, having a viable foundation/base pre-makeup is actually a lot more fundamental than most people imagine! My pleasure! :D thanks so much :)
