Nail Design

Sunday, 7 April 2013

You will never see me without nail varnish on - ever. I absolutely hate bare nails and would probably be severely shocked if I went out without it on, I think I'd feel a little naked. There's only about a 0.01% chance of that actually happening because I paint my nails religiously. My Barry M collection is forever growing and it's by far my favourite brand of nail varnish simply because the choice of colours are just ridiculous as well as super affordable. Nail art has become a lot more on trend lately and I've been googling designs that I'd like to try out (the flower and fruit designs are so cute). I need to invest in a matte white nail varnish and get some small thin tip nail art pens in order to be able to do it properly, but I had a little play around with the colours I already had, and I came up with a pink, blue and green 3 stripe design.

Admittedly, it's very basic which is down to to it being a Sunday night which means one thing and one thing only - lazy chill time. Truth be told, I couldn't be bothered to faff around with cotton buds erasing smeared nail varnish - I have a habit of painting my whole finger instead of my nail. This particular design might not be the most interesting or intricate, but it's nice if you're looking for an alternative to an all over colour. I promise once my student loan arrives in my bank tomorrow (fingers crossed), I'll revamp my nail varnish collection and be back with new nail designs for you in no time. I'm also planning on buying a few new bits and pieces so I'll be sure to keep you up to date and blog about some of the bits I treat myself to.

Apologies for the slightly wonky lines and lack of precision people.
What's your favourite nail design?
