Hangover Hell

Still wearing the clothes from the night before? Mouth as dry as the Sahara? Slept through your 9am lecture? These are all tell tale signs of a good night accompanied by a hangover from hell. However much you think you'll be able to 'power through', we all have those days where we can't manage to part our head from the pillow due to a few too many shots - it happens to the best of us.

Well, just call me your fairy godmother because I have some handy tips which will make your hangover slightly more bearable

1) When you get in, assuming you haven't been carried to bed and you're in a fit enough state, drink a glass of water or two before you go to sleep. This will rehydrate your body and leave you feeling that little bit fresher when you wake up.

2) Sugary foods will increase your energy levels and make you feel more alert - although this won't get rid of your hangover by itself, it will certainly move you one step closer to feeling 100%.

3) Have a shower - this is bound to wake you up and wash away your streaky fake tan from the night before, which is always a good thing.

4) Get yourself down to Weatherspoon's and treat yourself to a greasy fry up. The food will do you good as you've probably thrown up the kebab you got on the way home.

5) Grab the Berocca - a quick fix of vitamins in a tablet form will ease the pain and start to restore your body back to its normal state.

Or, if you're a proper student, you'll just drink through it.
